Email Hosting with my shared web hosting account

Hello,

I guess this might have been answered but I have not found an answer yet specifically to my question. I have a shared web hosting subscription (where I can host multiple unlimited websites) at dreamhost.com and I have a registered URL at dreamhost.com which I want to host on webflow. If I do the web hosting with webflow can I point my emails to work with dreamhost.com (ie MX records) so that I dont have to use Gsuite , Zoho etc. externally ? So also I can host multiple email accounts etc…

This will help, especially for some clients.

Tweet (with mention) to Webflow CMS Zapier 400 Bad Request

Hi the community !

I need some help as I want Webflow to create a new CMS item in my “TWEETS” collection (Every new tweet mentionning a word will create a cms item il my collection) with a Zapier integration but i get this message error:

The app returned “‘fields.slug’ invalid input”.

The problem comes from the “slug” cms field which I can’t populate because it comes from the Twitter data. Usually it is the same than the name, of the tweet , or the page etc…

Does anybody ( @cyberdave , @PixelGeek, @vincent , @jonnym , @WebflowCommunityTeam etc… ) can help me sort this out?
I am pretty sure it is nothing really important but I can’t figure it out !

Drop down menu conflict

Hello

I have added a drop-down menu to the navigation which works fine on all pages except one. The location page uses an embedded drop-down further down the page which is causing the navigation drop-down to display incorrectly. Have you any ideas on how this could be fixed?

Select/Deselect checkboxes while clicking button

Hi,

Is it possible to make a button component and checkbox components interact?

Or do we need a custom code to do the following action:

In the initial state I have several checkboxes selected.

When I click on a button, I can deselect all the checkboxes.

And vice versa

Adding unique reviews to CMS template pages

Hi everyone,

I’d like to add reviews to my CMS template pages, as they are going to be pages for events that I am linking to Ticket Tailor. However, when I add the code snippet (from powr.io)to do that it obviously copies across all CMS pages. I would like so that I could add a unique review box to every page separately. Anyone have any idea how to do this, or if it is possible? The reviews are a pretty important part of the website.

Scalling Problem Samsung S20

I have just been testing my site in mobile view. I have fixed the home screen and seems to look fine on my phone which is the pixel 4. I have tested it on the Samsung S20 and everything looks a mess - Looking at the different options of phone sizes on the bottom of the designer view I don’t see one for the S20.

Any ideas what i can do to make sure it looks right?

Collection Link - Only able to link to one project

Hi All-
I’ve been playing around a with this template that I’ve bought, however, keep coming across the issue where the hover link for the different page locations will not be able to edit to it’s own location. So, the page that is chosen for one topic would get populated the same for all.

Creating a template then bulk updating it

Hey all!

I have a client who is expanding his real estate empire rapidly and has asked if I would help by creating a new site for each new business that he opens up. I have created a template for him and plan to just duplicate and update the copy/imagery…etc. for each one. However, this client is looking to open up 60-150 new businesses within a year and I’m concerned that simply duplicating a template isn’t a great long-term solution.

What I’m thinking will need to happen is the ability to create a Master template and then have the ability to make any updates/enhancements to that master, and have those updates push to the children.

Would this be a custom thing made outside of webflow? or is there anything like a template host within webflow that I could utilize?

Tabs menu button position "jumping" around

Hi all,

I’m encountering this issue that really only started happening with mobile optimization where the buttons in my tab menu keep jumping around on hover. I do have a hover animation set up for desktop breakpoints, and that still works, but it’s accompanied by this weird, jumping action that I know I didn’t put in manually. I checked the padding and margin on all the tabs to make sure they were the same, and it’s the same for all the breakpoints (I think). Any ideas? This happens in the published site as well.

Extra space on the right

Hello everyone, I found some extra space when I scroll to the right on home page. But I did not see the space when in “design” mode. I thought about two ways to fix it:

  1. Is there a way I can make my home webpage static and do not move horizontally?

  2. On the home page, because things can be moved horizontally, some extra space show up on my first and third project. (However not the second one though). Can we fix that extra margin?

Create a Tabbed CMS Collection?

Hi!
I am trying to implement a feature on a site like the tabbed view you see here:
https://www.smartsheet.com/platform

The idea would be that the tabs would have a Feature Name and Icon, and then the Tab Content would have an image and a description. I set this up as a regular “Tabbed View” in webflow, however, I would like to link it to a CMS collection so that in the future, these can auto-populate.

I am having a hard time understanding how I can link it to a collection so that everything works properly.

How to create While-Scrolling 3D Rotation Interaction

Hey everyone! I’m trying to create a “while scrolling” interaction that moves an iPad screen similar to this website: https://www.shapr3d.com/ (created in Webflow)

I have created the 3D interaction on my own site, but I can’t seem to attach it to the scrolling interaction. I can manipulate the rotation and other transform properties in the Interactions builder, but it appears to be lacking the perspective properties that can be achieved in the designer. Could someone show me how this can be done? Or how this website was able to do it? Thanks! I’ll share my read-only link below.

Bulk Fulfill Orders

I already get a lot of orders daily on another platform. I work with shipping agents that send me my tracking number in Excel Sheets.

I would like to know if there’s a way to bulk fulfill all my orders with an Excel file?

Separate facebook comments on cms pages

Hello , i want to add facebook comments to different pages on my CMS, currently i added the face code and it applies on all cms pages, so if i comment on one page all other pages present the specific comment

how can i separate the facebook comments so each page has its own facebook comment section,

All CMS elements leading to the same URL

Hello All,

I created that website, unfortunately all the links from the collection are leading to the latest item that I add.
In the link settings of the ‘a’ tag (it’s a card) is set to lead to the current page (Current Nursing home).

Some notes:

  • The website is in Hebrew, but all that is matters is in English.
  • I’m using Udesly service for on-page filtering.
